The State Duma adopted in the third reading a law on the return of funds to mobilized and their families for canceled tours. This should from the legislative support system.
According to the text of the bill, the mobilized person or his family can return the spent funds within three years from the date of purchase of the tour. The tour operator undertakes to issue a refund from its own budget or the tour operator’s personal liability fund within 10 days from the date of filing the request.
The bill also provides for a one-year extension of the period during which guide-interpreters, instructor-guides and tour guides can carry out their activities according to the rules that were in force before July 1, 2022. Certificates issued to employees will be valid until January 1, 2025.
In September 2022 Russian Railways announced on the possibility of those mobilized to return funds for unused tickets. Funds will also be returned to persons who were supposed to follow along with those mobilized on a trip that did not take place.
