The State Duma voted for the adoption law about long-term savings of citizens. The program will be launched from the beginning of 2024.
The long-term savings program actually replaces the former system of state funded pensions. To participate, you need to conclude an agreement with a non-state pension fund and transfer pension savings for these purposes. The state will stimulate participation in the project with co-financing in 2024–2026. With income up to 80 thousand rubles – 1 rub. co-financing for 1 rub. contributions, from 80 to 150 thousand rubles. – 1 rub. co-financing for 2 rubles. contributions. Participants of the system will be able to issue an annual tax deduction of up to 52 thousand rubles.
Savings can be used after 15 years of participation in the program at the age of 55 for women and 60 for men. Money can be withdrawn at any time, but with a loss of income.
