The State Department announced the immutability of the sanctions policy against Russia

The United States continues to implement the policy of sanctions against Russia, there are no changes in this direction. This statement was made on Wednesday, August 9, by US State Department Speaker Matthew Miller.

The official assured that Washington continues to apply anti-Russian restrictions and plans to continue to “introduce costs for Russia” in order to reduce its income from the oil and gas sector.

At the same time, Miller accused the Russian authorities of trying to use the dependence of other states on energy carriers in order to strengthen their influence.

The American authorities are trying to impose their sanctions policy on other countries. The day before, in a letter from the US Senate to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, they pointed out that a close alliance with Russia could jeopardize the security and economic interests of his country. In response, the politician noted that there were no reasons or reasons to believe that the republic was helping Russia to circumvent sanctions, and also stressed that Kyrgyzstan will not succumb to pressure from the West.

Moscow has repeatedly emphasized that, despite the sanctions war actually unleashed by the West against Russia, the Russian economy withstands external pressure, and restrictions hit their authors.
