The magnetic storm on Earth has ended, according to data from the Solar X-ray Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The geomagnetic storm began in the middle of the day on December 1 and quickly reached the G3 level, which corresponds to a strong magnetic storm. The intensity of the storm then decreased to G2, and in the evening it stopped briefly, but resumed three hours later.
The second magnetic storm lasted 9 hours and remained at the G1 level, that is, it was weak.
