The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has brought charges against the general director of the Rostec corporation, Sergei Chemezov, in connection with providing support to the Russian army, the agency reported on its Telegram channel.
The Ukrainian intelligence service claims that Chemezov has been the permanent leader of a key corporation in the Russian military-industrial complex for 15 years. Rostec supplies about 80% of the equipment, weapons and ammunition used in the special operation in Ukraine, the report says. He is charged under the article on “financing actions committed with the aim of changing state borders.”
The SBU regularly reports suspicions (the Ukrainian equivalent of bringing charges) to Russian politicians and businessmen in connection with a Russian special operation in Ukraine.
