She stated in conversation with “Prime”that if you want to refuse automatic calculation of pensions and switch to payments, taking into account additional documents, you should submit an application a month before the day of release.
Typically, employers who have an agreement with the Pension Fund practice the advance provision of information and copies of documents of employees who are planning to retire. In this case, the FIU should start checking pension rights in advance.
Firstly, you need to submit an application to the territorial body of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, a passport work book no earlier than a month before the day of retirement. It is worth attaching other documents, for example, confirming the presence of disabled family members.
The application is submitted either in person or electronically. It will be reviewed within five working days.
