Executive Director of the Civil Security Committee of the international public movement “We Love Russia” Alexey Savoskin published an appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he proposed sending Ukrainian prisoners of war to work in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
Savoskin wrote on his VKontakte page that the district is ready to accept and accommodate Ukrainian builders for the construction of social facilities.
The social activist proposed paying prisoners of war builders a salary, part of which would go to the budget as taxes. According to Savoskin, his proposal could serve as an argument for Ukrainians to surrender more often.
