Ministry of Defense: in a week the Russian Armed Forces carried out 23 group strikes on Ukraine
Over the past week, Russian troops carried out 23 group strikes with precision weapons on military targets on Ukrainian territory. This was announced by official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov during a briefing on Friday.
“In the period from January 6 to January 12, 2024, the Russian Armed Forces carried out 23 group strikes with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons, including the Kinzhal hypersonic aircraft missile systems,” said the lieutenant general.
According to Konashenkov, enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, which produce, modernize and repair aviation, drones, armored vehicles, MLRS and artillery systems, were attacked by Russian troops.
In addition, the general added that the Russian Armed Forces also hit the deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The target of the strikes was achieved. All designated targets were hit,” the military department emphasized.
