Ministry of Defense: in a week Russia carried out 34 group strikes on the military infrastructure of Ukraine
Over the past week, Russian troops launched 34 group missile strikes against Ukrainian military infrastructure. This was announced by official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov during a briefing on Friday, March 8.
“In the period from March 2 to March 8, 2024, the Russian Armed Forces carried out 34 group strikes with high-precision weapons, multiple launch rocket systems and unmanned aerial vehicles,” the lieutenant general said during a report on the week-long activities of the Russian Armed Forces in the zone SVO.
It is clarified that during the group strikes of the Russian army, Ukrainian facilities were hit, where assembly took place, as well as training of personnel for the combat use of unmanned boats, arsenals, fuel bases for military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries.
