The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of storage sites for Storm Shadow missiles

The Russian Armed Forces attacked storage sites in Ukraine for Storm Shadow cruise missiles and depleted uranium ammunition, reported to the Ministry of Defense.

“Tonight, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a group strike with high-precision long-range air-launched weapons, as well as attack unmanned aerial vehicles, on the places where the Kiev regime stored Storm Shadow cruise missiles and ammunition with depleted uranium,” the Ministry of Defense said. The strike was also carried out on the centers of radio intelligence and training of sabotage groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

“The target of the strike has been achieved. All objects were hit,” the Ministry of Defense clarified.

The Russian military also destroyed ammunition depots in the area of ​​Avdeevka and Prechistovka. In total, the Russian Armed Forces defeated enemy personnel and military equipment in 123 regions, the ministry added. The Russian army managed to destroy the command posts of two mechanized brigades and two territorial defense brigades.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces intercepted five HIMARS multiple launch rocket system shells and suppressed 27 Ukrainian drones. The Ministry of Defense also reported on the destruction of foreign equipment, including American M119 guns, M777 artillery system, etc.

The transfer of Storm Shadow aircraft cruise missiles with a range of up to 240 km from Great Britain to Ukraine became known in May. The Kremlin then said that such a move by London would require an “adequate response” from the Russian military. After this, the Ministry of Defense repeatedly reported that Storm Shadow missiles were used to attack new regions of Russia. On September 13, Sky News channel cited sources in London and Kyiv reportedthat the Ukrainian Armed Forces used them during an attack on a ship repair plant in Sevastopol.
