A flock of great cormorants that nests on the Kinburn Spit in the western part of the Kherson region has become a natural signal for the fighters of the Don reconnaissance assault brigade (RSB), warning them of the approach of Ukrainian drones and DRGs. This was reported by a serviceman with the call sign “Lead”.
“Cormorants are our friends, because they are right at the position. We saddled, so to speak, a dry tree and about 100 heads of these cormorants tell us about copters,” the Russian military said.
According to Svinets, the Armed Forces of Ukraine deliberately set fire to forests in the landscape park on the spit in order to destroy flora and fauna.
The Kinburn Spit is located at the mouth of the Dnieper on the left bank of the Dnieper-Bug Estuary. From this place, Russian troops can see the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are located in the city of Ochakov.
