The Russian military destroyed three boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the way to the Sevastopol Bay

On the night of April 24, the Russian military thwarted an attempt by Kyiv to attack the Black Sea Fleet base in Sevastopol with three unmanned speedboats. About it reported Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

An attempt to attack the Black Sea Fleet was made around 3.30 Moscow time. As a result, all enemy boats were hit by anti-submarine and sabotage support forces (APDO). There are no losses, the Ministry of Defense stressed.

Earlier today, Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev informed about an enemy attempt to attack Sevastopol using surface drones. According to him, one of them was destroyed by PPDO, and the second exploded on its own. Razvozhaev did not mention the third apparatus.

He stressed that the drones did not enter Streletskaya Bay. There were no casualties as a result of the incident. Buildings, moorings and other structures were also not damaged. Governor of Sevastopol later clarifiedthat, due to the explosions of destroyed maritime drones, windows were shattered in four residential buildings.

Since the beginning of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Crimea and other border regions have been repeatedly attacked by Ukraine. Now in the Crimea, Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely.

In addition, since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been set in eight regions. Among them are Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Kursk, Voronezh, Bryansk and Rostov regions. In the new regions of the Russian Federation – the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions – martial law has been introduced.
