The Russian Guard announced the detention of accomplices of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the SBU in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions

Servicemen of the Russian Guard in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions detained over 130 people who collaborated with the Ukrainian military and special services, reported department press office.

“In the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the National Guard detained more than 130 people involved in the activities of the nationalist organizations of the SBU and the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the report says.

The department did not specify for how long these people were detained. In addition, ten weapons caches were found, including 33 grenade launchers, a 2mm mortar, two heavy machine guns, fifty grenades, more than 16,000 rounds of small arms ammunition, as well as many mines and rocket ammunition. Also, 4.5 kg of drugs were found in the caches.

On August 24, servicemen of the Russian Guard identified two employees of the Zaporozhye NPP who collaborated with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to the department, they transmitted information to the Ukrainian military about the whereabouts of personnel and equipment on the territory of the station. Later that month, the National Guard detained two members of the Right Sector (an extremist organization banned in Russia) in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
