The government of the Russian Federation has lifted the ban on the export of gasoline from the country. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy. It is clarified that the ban will be lifted on November 17. It was introduced on September 21.
It is noted that the restrictions were lifted in order to prevent unloading of oil refineries, as well as to ensure high levels of production of commercial motor gasoline. It is reported that the corresponding decision was made taking into account the stabilization of prices in the domestic market.
The rise in fuel prices in Russia began to rise in the spring and remained at record levels for several months.
