The Russian Foreign Ministry warned Poland about the risks of pumping Ukraine with weapons

Warsaw should think more about the consequences of pumping Ukraine with weapons, declared Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Alexander Grushko, commenting to RIA Novosti about the situation with the rocket that fell in Poland.

“Warsaw needs to think more about the threats to Poland itself as a result of the massive pumping of Ukraine with Western weapons,” he said.

The attempt to make a molehill out of a molehill in connection with the incident in Poland, according to the diplomat, was doomed from the very beginning, regardless of whether consultations were held in NATO on the fourth article of the treaty or not.

The incident with the fall of a rocket on the territory of Poland occurred on the evening of November 15. Local media reported that two people were killed in the incident. The Russian Defense Ministry denied Moscow’s involvement in the incident, and called media publications with such accusations “a deliberate provocation.”

Today, the ministry said that Russian military-industrial complex experts, based on photographs from the scene, determined that the wreckage belong Ukrainian missile system S-300. About the fall of the Ukrainian air defense missile declared so did US President Joe Biden at a meeting with the leaders of the G7 and NATO countries.

Polish President Andrzej Duda, in turn acknowledgedthat there is no evidence that the rocket that fell on the territory of Poland was fired by the Russian military. According to Duda, there is a high probability that this missile belonged to the Ukrainian air defense. The same version supported and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, while, in his opinion, Ukraine is not responsible for this incident.

After the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Western countries began to supply weapons to Kyiv at an accelerated pace. At the same time, the Russian authorities have repeatedly criticized military support from the West. Back in April, Moscow sent a note of protest to all countries, including the United States, over arms supplies to Ukraine, accusing the West of seeking to prolong the conflict and profit from it.
