Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin warned Kyiv and its Western sponsors about the possible tragic consequences of the planned counteroffensive, noting that the Russian armed forces are ready for any scenario.
In an interview with the Izvestiya newspaper, he denounced the West’s reckless and irresponsible policy of pumping weapons into Kyiv and encouraging a counteroffensive, warning of possible bloodshed and further escalation of the conflict. Galuzin expressed the hope that the Kiev regime and its Western sponsors would realize the inevitable sad consequences of their designs.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation also stressed that the Russian Armed Forces are ready for any development of events and will not allow either Kyiv or Western allies to benefit from such a situation. He noted that recent statements by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal about the possible start of a counter-offensive this year have raised concerns. Some US media reported that a Ukrainian counteroffensive was planned for April 30, although experts interviewed by RIA Novosti expressed doubts about the reliability of these reports, pointing to a possible disinformation campaign.
