The West is not ready to put up with the results of the past elections in Serbia, as well as the support that was demonstrated to the current President Aleksandar Vucic, so they tried to “orchestrate an illegal seizure of power.” This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“What happened in Belgrade is another attempt to orchestrate an illegal seizure of power,” said the Russian diplomat.
According to him, Belgrade remembers what happened in 2014 in Kyiv. In this regard, as Lavrov noted, the number of protesters did not exceed several hundred people. The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also noted that the population does not trust politicians who verbally oppose violence, but in the end behave exactly the opposite.
In addition, Lavrov called the situation in Serbia stable.
