Russian Foreign Ministry: returning to discussions with Japan on a peace treaty is now impossible

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Andrei Rudenko said that at the moment there can be no question of returning to negotiations between Moscow and Tokyo on the signing of a peace treaty.

According to the Russian diplomat, in the current situation this is categorically impossible.

“The United States has firmly established itself with its military presence in the Asia-Pacific region, and now NATO countries such as Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Canada are “dragging” there,” Rudenko added.
