Ambassador Miroshnik: Russia considers it appropriate to recognize the SBU, GUR and the Armed Forces of Ukraine as terrorists

Russia considers it appropriate to recognize the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) and the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) as terrorist organizations at the state level. This was stated by the Ambassador at Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the crimes of the Kyiv regime, Rodion Miroshnik. He added that their status is a matter of time, writes RIA News.

According to a representative of the Foreign Ministry, it is a matter of political initiative of deputies, senators or the country’s leadership regarding the advisability of giving them the appropriate status.

“We believe that this is appropriate,” the ambassador emphasized.

The diplomat also noted that in order to recognize the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate and the SBU as terrorist at the international level, a political international consensus with “the actual customers and coordinators of their crimes” is necessary, and this is problematic. However, they can be assigned the status of terrorist organizations at the Russian level, the Foreign Ministry representative added. According to him, in order to receive this title, “they have already done everything in substance.”

Previously, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commented on the intentions of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to transfer the “peace plan” to Moscow. According to a representative of the foreign policy department, he had in mind an ultimatum.

Lavrov noted that the basis from which Western countries are ready to work on the Ukrainian settlement is absolutely dead-end.
