Russia requested an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council due to the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a bakery in Lisichansk

The Russian Federation has requested an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council for Tuesday due to the Ukrainian army’s attack on a bakery in Lisichansk LPR. This was announced by First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky.

“Taking into account the already agreed work schedule of the Security Council, we expect that it will be scheduled for 15.00 New York time (23.00 Moscow time) on February 6,” the Russian diplomat said.

As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strike on a bakery in Lisichansk LPR on February 3, 28 people were killed, including one child. Another 10 citizens were injured.

The Kremlin called what happened a monstrous terrorist attack.
