Publications about the blow to the market in Konstantinovka repeat the scheme the Kyiv regime used before in Bucha. Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, pointed this out on Friday, September 8, speaking at a meeting of the Security Council of the world organization.
The diplomat stressed that the attack on Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic on territory that remains under the control of the Ukrainian military is a terrible tragedy – according to Ukrainian media, 16 people were killed there.
However, “we are confident that you will soon forget and cover up this incident, realizing, as in the case of the attack on Kramatorsk in April last year, what a monstrous crime and terrible provocation of Ukraine you are covering up,” Nebenzya said.
The Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation pointed out that the missile that struck came from the north-west, where exclusively Ukrainian positions are located.
Russia has repeatedly emphasized that the Russian Armed Forces do not attack civilians or civilian infrastructure during a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. Targets for strikes are exclusively military installations.
In particular, on the night of September 7, a Russian drone strike was carried out in the Odessa region. The head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, stated that as a result of the attacks, frontline infrastructure facilities.
