The Russian Federation and the IAEA agreed on full-scale consultations on Zaporozhye NPP

The Rosatom state corporation reported that the head of the department, Alexei Likhachev, held negotiations with the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, in Dubai on the sidelines of the UN climate conference.
The parties discussed ensuring nuclear and physical safety of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The work of the IAEA mission at the station and the next rotation of experts on December 5 were also discussed.
In addition, Likhachev and Grossi agreed to hold full-scale consultations on the operation of the Zaporozhye NPP in January-February 2024.
