“If this information is confirmed, then we will witness another provocative step by the administration, which can lead to unpredictable consequences. Continued deliveries will only reinforce the sense of impunity of the Zelensky regime and push it to new crimes against civilians in Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions,” the report said.
The embassy pointed out that drawing Washington into the conflict not only worsens Russian-American relations, but also “creates additional risks for global security.” In this regard, the Russian Embassy blamed the ongoing escalation of the conflict on the United States.
On December 13, CNN reported that the US presidential administration had completed preparations for sending the Patriot to Ukraine. According to the publication, this may be announced this week. However, the day before, on December 14, at the White House did not confirm this information.
In turn, in the Kremlin called Patriot complexes as legitimate military targets of the Russian Armed Forces, if NATO supplies them to Ukraine.
