The press service of the embassy issued a statement announcing the arrival of the Russian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk in San Francisco to participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
The diplomatic mission clarified that the Russian Federation considers APEC as the leading forum for discussing key issues of economic interaction between the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
“This forum also contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for the development of trade and investment ties in the region,” the statement says.
