The units of the Russian Armed Forces have broken through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine north of the village of Peski and are developing an offensive, the Rybar Telegram channel reports.

The message mentions a battalion of the armed forces of the DPR “Sparta” and other parts of the RF Armed Forces.

“We managed to gain a foothold in the village of Vodyanoye to the north of the village of Peski,” the report says. Fighting is also reported in the western part of the village of Pervomaisky, as well as in the eastern part of the village of Vodiane.

“The final cleansing of the settlements of Pervomayskoye and Nevelskoye will provide an opportunity to develop an offensive against Netaylovo and Krasnogorovka, and an advance to the north from Vodyanoye and Opytny to Orlovka in order to further encircle the Avdeevsky fortified area,” the authors of the channel write.

The report notes that it is from these settlements that the armed formations of Ukraine daily shell the areas of Donetsk. “Their capture will move the front line away from the administrative center of the DPR and reduce the intensity of artillery strikes,” the report says.

From the reports of other military correspondents, it follows that the Russian Armed Forces were able to gain a foothold on the southern outskirts of the settlement. Vodyanoye, located north of Peski, in this area, an infantry fighting vehicle and armored vehicles represented by NATO countries were destroyed. As for the comments from Ukraine, they are limited to reports of attacks by the Russian Armed Forces attacked near Avdiivka – in the areas of Vodiane, Kamenka (north of Avdiivka) and Nevelskoye (south of Pervomaisky).
