The Russian Armed Forces intercepted several Ukrainian UAVs over the Belgorod and Bryansk regions

Air defense systems of the Russian Armed Forces shot down one Ukrainian aircraft-type drone in the sky over the Belgorod region, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported.

Two more similar UAVs were intercepted while attempting to attack targets in the Bryansk region, the Russian defense ministry added.

“On September 13, at about 22.00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type UAV on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped,” – it says in a message from the ministry.

Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel clarifiedthat an air target was shot down over the village of Tulyanka in the Valuysky urban district. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or destruction; operational services are examining the site of the drone crash.

The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, also spoke about the failure of the Ukrainian attack on the territory of the region. “The air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense stopped an attack by Ukrainian terrorists. Two unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the Unecha region. There were no casualties or damage. Operational and emergency services are working on the spot. Thanks to our air defense units,” wrote he is on his Telegram channel.
