The Russian Armed Forces attacked the Ukrainian military airfield in Mirgorod, Poltava region, from where planes attacked the Zaporozhye region and the Crimean direction.
The coordinator of the Nikolaev underground told RIA Novosti about the operation. According to the news agency’s interlocutor, two strikes were carried out on Monday, at 22:50 and 23:20 local time.
A representative of the underground noted that mainly Su-27s are based at the airfield in the south-eastern part of Mirgorod. There is also a training center for pilots, warehouses and a motor transport enterprise.
