How informs Channel One, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov, commented on recent statements by US national security adviser Jake Sullivan about some “warnings he made to the Russian leadership.
Recall that Sullivan earlier said that he “directly in private” warned the Russian authorities about the “catastrophic” consequences of the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
“As for some kind of Sullivan’s warning to the Russian leadership, I don’t know. But I firmly believe that we would not make excuses for our actions in Ukraine … and rejected such a tonality from the American side regarding our actions,” the ambassador said.
