The Russian ambassador in Vienna reacted to the words about the “colonial war”

Russian Ambassador to Vienna Dmitry Lyubinsky commented on the statement by Austrian President Alexander van der Bellen about the alleged “colonial war” that Moscow is waging in Ukraine.
According to the Russian diplomat, such a statement further expands the boundaries of Western mythology around the events that have recently taken place in Ukraine.
Lyubinsky clarified that in the West they continue to substitute concepts, changing cause-and-effect relationships.
The ambassador also recalled how “the adherents of the Kyiv regime quite openly proclaimed the entire Russian-speaking population of Donbass to be ‘subhuman’.”
“In the best colonial traditions, which are well known to the former colonial powers,” the Russian-speaking population of Donbass was not only exploited for years, but simply destroyed under the supposedly silent ignorance of Western pseudo-liberal democracies,” the ambassador noted.
