The Russian Aerospace Forces have introduced deadly tactics: they are smashing Ukrainian targets non-stop

Knutov admitted that Russia is massively attacking bridges and railways

The Russian Aerospace Forces continue to carry out retaliatory strikes for the terrorist attack in Belgorod and the shelling of Donetsk on New Year’s Eve. Thus, on the night of January 2, one of the most powerful combined attacks was carried out on military targets in Kyiv and Kharkov. Our army used up to 40 Geraniums at night, and in the morning launched missiles from 20 strategic aircraft. In addition, more than 11 units of Kinzhal hypersonic missiles were sent to military targets. In total, about 110 missiles were fired.

Military expert Yuri Knutov, in a conversation with MK, did not rule out that the next targets of our strategic aviation could be enemy transport facilities – railways and bridges.

Military experts drew attention to the fact that the Russian army has changed tactics and now Ukrainian military installations are subject to daily attacks almost without interruption. “Geraniums”, which are launched at intervals of 9-10 hours, fly in batches of up to 20 units. Thus, experts note, a whole dynamic emerges. If in the spring and summer of last year “Geraniums” attacked once every few days, in the fall every day, but mainly at night, now daily attacks are observed non-stop.

Thus, now our attacks did not give the enemy time to reload their air defense systems. At the same time, the first strikes, including by drones, carried out the task of opening the areas where air defense systems were located.

“The combined attack included the launch of decoys and strikes against enemy air defense position areas in the capital region. In Kyiv there are interruptions in electricity, water, and communications. The Nazis had a hard time in Kharkov, explosions were heard at the Kropyvnytskyi airfield,” wrote the “Two Majors” channel.

This time the maximum strikes hit Kyiv and Kharkov. Thus, in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, the networks of Ukrenergo and Oblenergo were damaged, and more than 250 thousand consumers were de-energized. In addition, a drone production workshop was destroyed in Kyiv.

In Kharkov, local residents noted, there were many arrivals to the Kiev, Shevchenkovsky, Saltovsky districts, to the territory of Turboatom. As a result of the strike on the anti-radiation bomb shelter, it was revealed that the enemy had stored ammunition for MLRS there. The hit was followed by fire followed by detonation.

“Again. The APU was stored in an underground bunker in the city of BK. They also install air defense systems in cities and parks. So, Ukrainian citizens, if you see air defense near your house, it’s better to move. And don’t forget to say thank you to Zelensky and Western partners,” noted the “Two Majors” channel.

According to military expert, director of the Museum of Air Defense Forces Yuri Knutov, one of the features of this massive strike was that we again began to hit infrastructure:

– These are our classic strikes that we actively struck last year. At the same time, we are striking at the infrastructure of Ukraine, and the enemy is striking at civilians in Donetsk, in fact at residential buildings, at social infrastructure facilities – that is, this is a purely terrorist response that the Kiev regime is resorting to.

The military expert also noted that we will continue to knock out not only the enemy’s infrastructure, but also the locations of NATO officers who are actually correcting attacks on Russian civilian targets:

– Recently, a blow was struck at a hotel – the place of residence of high-ranking Ukrainian and NATO military personnel, as well as mercenaries. This is a very significant blow, in my opinion. Because, according to our Ministry of Defense, the decision to strike the Belgorod region was agreed upon with NATO troops. Target designation could be carried out directly from AWACS or Global Hawk long-range radar support aircraft. Therefore, the strikes on the hotel are truly a blow of retaliation and, in my opinion, a tangible one. I think we will continue to hit these shots.

The military expert also noted that in the near future our Aerospace Forces may have additional goals:

– Over time, there may be a need to strike the transport infrastructure of Ukraine. The Kiev regime continues to actively transfer NATO equipment to the combat zone and it will be necessary to prevent its movement by striking bridges and railway junctions.
