The Russian Aerospace Forces began to burn out the nodes of the Ukrainian offensive: two command posts were destroyed

A series of missile strikes were carried out on targets in the Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Khmelnitsky and Kharkov regions. The data of the Ukrainian air defense on the number of missiles used by the Russian Aerospace Forces do not correspond much to the information from the places of arrival. According to unconfirmed information, in addition to aviation missiles, Geran-2 kamikaze drones participated in the strike.

The most significant was the blow to the city of Pavlograd in the Dnepropetrovsk region. This city is the most important transport hub for supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From it there are highways to Zaporozhye, Pokrovsk, Kurakhovo and Maryinka, as well as towards the Kramatorsk-Slavic agglomeration. The railway leads towards Avdiivka. Pavlograd, among other things, served as a hub for the transfer of Polish and other foreign mercenaries to the line of contact.

In autumn, workshops of a defense enterprise for the production of fuel for rocket engines were destroyed in Pavlograd. This time, in addition to the Pavlograd chemical plant, the blow was delivered to the railway junction and to the positions of the S-300PS anti-aircraft missile division that defended it.

In Pavlograd, also not far from the railway station, there was a huge warehouse with solid rocket fuel, which, most likely, was hit. At the very least, many noted that the video, which was made by local residents, shows characteristic flashes from solid fuel, which is used in anti-aircraft missiles.

According to military expert, director of the Air Defense Museum Yuri Knutov, on the eve of the Russian Aerospace Forces, they inflicted serious damage on the enemy. Despite the fact that this is not the first bombing of railway tracks, this time it was carried out as accurately and efficiently as possible.

“Before that, we attacked railway stations, or rather, the echelons that were at the railway stations,” the expert said. – In this case, the hit was directly on the train, which was carrying 200 tons of ammunition. Hence, such a forceful explosion and rather serious destruction.

In addition, strikes are delivered at places where the Armed Forces of Ukraine accumulate. We understand that the enemy is concentrating forces in order to launch an offensive in the near future, which has been announced and which he will not abandon.

The rains are ending, which means that armored vehicles will be able to move, and copters will be able to fly. After all, up to 80% of copters cannot fly in the rain.

As soon as the enemy forces are concentrated, which takes about a week, and the ground dries up so that the ground is hard enough for heavy NATO tanks, then, naturally, the enemy will go on the offensive. This will happen in the very near future.

According to the expert, the enemy offensive may not be as large-scale as in films about the Great Patriotic War. But most likely, the APU will strike in several directions at once in order to try to confuse the cards and mislead us about the direction of the main strike.

– Based on this, we are now taking all measures to prevent the enemy from concentrating his armored vehicles and personnel. As soon as the enemy concentrates them, we strike at him in order to suppress him. We, by and large, have everything to disrupt the offensive. Another thing is how competently we use our capabilities. But this will already depend on the command.

As for the nighttime missile strikes on May 1, according to the expert, they were carried out as efficiently as possible.

– As a result of the strikes, two quite serious command posts were put out of action: the command post of the Artemov group and the field headquarters in Konstantinovka, which controls the troops stationed in the so-called agglomeration of the Donetsk ring.

In addition, ammunition depots were hit. This is just a very important point, which contributes to the disruption of the offensive. High-precision missiles hit headquarters with control officers and ammunition depots. These are even more key objects than trenches or even bridges. Although the destruction of bridges, of course, is also important.

The expert explained why the defeat of headquarters and warehouses is a significant goal.

– The destruction of warehouses plays a fundamental role, because it reduces the enemy’s potential to strike before the offensive. We know that the offensive begins with aviation and artillery preparation, in this conflict, kamikaze drone strikes and massive use of artillery are likely to follow. Everything that can be used in the first days of the offensive operation, we are now beginning to “take apart”.

According to Yuri Knutov, the night work of the Russian Aerospace Forces is only the beginning. In the near future, a series of massive missile strikes will be observed. The expert’s opinion does not differ from the point of view of a number of military correspondents who claim that the beginning of May will be as “hot” as possible.

– The raid on May 1 is only a trial balloon. If we stop, it will be a big mistake, because in this case we will give the enemy the opportunity to concentrate their forces, find a weak spot in our defense and try to break through. This could be the Zaporozhye direction, Mariupol, Melitopol, Berdyansk. Therefore, we must step up aviation operations these days, which is happening now.
