Immediately after the terrorist attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the center of Belgorod, which already killed 24 civilians, including women and children, return fire began on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkov region. Our artillery worked continuously for several hours. On the morning of December 31, the Russian army reported on which targets were fired. Later, the preliminary results of our retaliatory strike became known.

Thus, the Military Chronicle specialists noted that our main blow fell on the headquarters and barracks of the 59th motorized infantry, 79th air assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as on foreign mercenaries based in the Kharkov region. In addition, our artillerymen hit storage areas for artillery systems in Selidovo, Kurakhovo and on the territory of the Korotchenko mine in the DPR.

Kurakhovo is located 14 kilometers from Marinka, and the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces moved a significant number of Ukrainian troops there. Reserves have recently arrived in Selidovo to defend Avdeevka.

Most of the targets were hit in the Kharkov region, from where fire was fired at Belgorod. Storage facilities there were damaged, as well as the former Kharkov Palace Hotel, where representatives of the Ukrainian special services were located, who were directly involved in the planning and execution of the terrorist attack in Belgorod. Up to two hundred foreign mercenaries also live there.

According to the information resource, Finnish, Brazilian, American, and Mexican mercenaries could be in the hotel. It is reported that ambulances removed at least 40 bodies from the site of the impact. Some of the dead and wounded were transported by helicopter to Dnepropetrovsk. Foreign specialists were involved, in particular, at the Chuguev airfield, where aircraft carrying Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles can be based.

Assessing the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strike on peaceful Belgorod, Daniil Bezsonov called its organizers “complete terrorists” and “bastards” for whom it is important to “kill more Russian civilians.”

The administrator of the channel “Archangel Spetsnaz” urged not to allow “the Nazis to take away the holiday from our children, kill faith in goodness and ruin the New Year!” “The Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing on all fronts, and the only thing they can do is try to break us morally,” the publication says. “…The evil spirits have crossed all the boundaries of humanity.”
