The press service of the US Republican National Committee has released a draft resolution in which Donald Trump’s name is listed as a candidate in the upcoming presidential election.
This resolution was prepared following the results of party caucuses in Iowa and the primaries in New Hampshire, where Trump won.
“The National Committee hereby announces Donald Trump as our nominee for President of the United States in 2024,” the draft resolution reads.
It is clarified that from this moment the Republican candidate moves into full-fledged general election mode.
