State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said during a plenary meeting that the annual report of the Central Bank is scheduled for April 17. The report of the Accounts Chamber in the State Duma, according to Mr. Volodin, will be held on March 27.

“With regard to the report of the Accounts Chamber, we will have it on March 27, that is, it will in any case report earlier than the government’s report. As for the Central Bank, this is a separate topic, and the Central Bank here does not necessarily have to report before the government’s report – on April 17 there will be a Central Bank report,” said Vyacheslav Volodin (quoted by Interfax).

According to the law, the Central Bank must annually submit a report to the State Duma. The report must be submitted no later than May 15. It includes data on the activities of the Bank of Russia, including measures to implement monetary policy. The report also contains an analysis of the state of the Russian economy, financial market, and foreign exchange situation. In addition, in the report the Central Bank must provide annual financial statements and an auditor’s report on them.
