The greatest cruelty towards prisoners of war is shown by employees of the security service of Ukraine (SBU), said Artur Klinov, a sergeant of the People’s Militia of the DPR, who was released from captivity.
According to him, from this category of persons, beatings and bullying were of a constant nature. One of the measures of “influence” on the prisoners by the SBU officers Klinov called the “Crimean tan” – a strong blow to the back, leaving a large hematoma.
He noted that the SBU officers escorted the prisoners, forcing them to walk in a half-bent state.
“The SBU officers are always wearing masks, they don’t mind beating you during interrogations, it’s part of their job to keep you in suspense, strain, intimidate,” he said.
Among other tortures, Klinov noted the use of electricity. According to him, other Ukrainian military differed for the better, as they did not beat the prisoners.
On November 3, another exchange of prisoners of war was carried out, within the framework of which 107 Russian military personnel returned, including fighters from units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
