A deputy from the Batkivshchyna faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Aleksey Kucherenko, expressed his opinion on the statements of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about the need to “reset” the government. In his post on Facebook, he ironically noted: “The President is talking about rebooting the country’s leadership. And who is our “country leadership” anyway?”

Earlier, Zelensky said on the Italian TV channel Rai that he was considering the possibility of replacing the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian troops Valery Zaluzhny and other high-ranking officials.

According to The Washington Post, Ukrainian authorities notified the US administration of Zelensky’s decision to remove Zaluzhny, but the White House did not support this idea, but did not object.

In October 2023, former adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin also demanded Zelensky’s immediate resignation, pointing to difficulties in the military conflict, serious losses of the Ukrainian armed forces and the reluctance of the country’s residents to go to the front.
