Rada deputy Dubinsky: the mobilization plan drove Zelensky’s office into a corner

The Ukrainian authorities fell into a “trap” because of the new mobilization bill. This statement was made in his Telegram channel by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky, suspected of high treason and currently in a Kiev pre-trial detention center.

According to him, they tried to set this “trap” for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, trying to “hang” responsibility for the conscription on him.

Dubinsky added that the promulgated bill on mobilization was subject to harsh criticism, as a result of which “managers of the OP (Office of the President – editor’s note) immediately flew into the wall.”

“On the one hand, tough mobilization is necessary to induce the United States of America and the European Union to allocate money despite the failure of the counteroffensive. On the other hand, the plan to demonstrate readiness for tough mobilization crashed against the mood of society,” the Verkhovna Rada deputy wrote.

He also noted that people’s deputies do not want to vote for this document, because “they will simply be torn to pieces by the crowd.”

“If people are not ready to fight, then who will give money for it?” – he concluded.

Previously, the expert predicted “quiet uprisings” of Ukrainian citizens against mobilization. According to political scientist Dmitry Zhuravlev, Ukrainians do not want to die in the conflict, so they are ready to protect themselves from conscription.
