The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has recognized the activities of the Lithuanian organization “League of Free Nations” (Free Nations League) in Russia as undesirable. About it informs press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office in the Telegram channel.
“According to the decision of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia, the Lithuanian foreign non-governmental organization “Free Nations League” (“League of Free Nations”) was recognized as undesirable,” the message says.
The department explained that the activities of the organization pose a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order and security of the Russian Federation. In addition, the leaders of the organization, living in Lithuania, Great Britain and Ukraine, call for the violation of the territorial integrity of the country, the report said.
It is specified that the information has already been sent to the Ministry of Justice. The department should include the “League of Free Nations” in the list of organizations whose activities are recognized as undesirable in Russia.
Earlier, Roskomnadzor blocked the website of the League of Free Nations.
February 14 Ministry of Justice introduced in the register of undesirable organizations “Forum of Free Russia”. Her activities were recognized by the Prosecutor General’s Office as undesirable in Russia on February 1. The NGO website is also blocked in the country. In total, the list of the Ministry of Justice includes 75 organizations.
