The Prosecutor General’s Office approved the charge of spreading fakes about NWO to foreigners

The Prosecutor General’s Office approved the charge in a criminal case against the Colombian Giraldo Saray for disseminating false information about the actions of the Russian military, transmits department press office.

“He is accused of committing a crime under par. “b”, “g” part 2 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, committed by an organized group out of selfish motives),” the press service reports. The criminal case was sent to the Golovinsky District Court of Moscow for consideration.

According to investigators, from March to April 2022, Giraldo Saray, Ramirez Salazar and Briseño Mendoza spread false information about the Russian military who are taking part in a special operation in Ukraine.

Saray had a residence permit in Russia, Salazar and Mendos led the group’s actions outside the country. For a monetary reward, Saray provided technical training and subsequent covert placement of mobile devices in one of the shopping centers in Moscow, with the help of which mass mailing of fakes about the actions of the military to subscribers of Russian operators was carried out.

The department also found out that the criminal activity was carried out in the interests of a foreign organization Digital Humanity (USA), associated with the US government agency for international development.

An article for spreading fakes about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces appeared after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine on March 4. Fines can reach one and a half million rubles. If the fakes caused serious consequences, imprisonment of up to fifteen years may be threatened.

The case of the Moscow municipal deputy Aleksey Gorinov was the first to be sentenced. His Meshchansky District Court of Moscow sentenced him to seven years in prison.
