The government extended the program to support light industry enterprises until the end of 2023, the relevant resolution signed Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“The extension of the subsidy program will help continue supporting industry enterprises, improve the quality and expand the range of their products,” the government press service noted.

Under the program, companies will be able to receive subsidies to pay off interest on loans taken in 2023, reimbursing 70% of interest expenses with their help.

Earlier, at the end of December, Mishustin said that the decline in Russia’s GDP in the first 11 months of 2022 amounted to 2%.
