Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree according to which the program of social gasification in the country becomes indefinite and extends to medical and educational institutions, the report says. message on the government website.

“On the instructions of the president, the government made the program of social gasification indefinite and extended it to medical and educational organizations. Now they will be able to connect to gas distribution networks free of charge,” the message says.

Now the program applies to kindergartens, schools, clinics, hospitals, feldsher-obstetric stations, departments of general practitioners and outpatient clinics located in gasified settlements.

Earlier, at the end of July, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that the current rates of connecting households to gas in a number of regions as part of the after-gasification program are insufficient, despite the summer period of the year that is favorable for supplying gas.

The social gasification program has been operating in Russia since 2021. It assumes that the level of gasification of regions will increase from 71% in 2020 to 82.9% by 2030.
