Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said in an interview with CNN that she would like to be considered for the post of next NATO Secretary General. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to her, she is asked the question about the desire to become NATO Secretary General quite often. “Who wouldn’t want to…,” she said.
Callas also admitted that she does not really believe that she will be offered such a position, but would like to be given such an offer.
Politico previously reported that Callas announced her desire to take the post of NATO Secretary General. At the POLITICO Defense summit organized by the publication, she expressed hope that Ukraine would be able to win the conflict with Russia. Callas rejected the idea that the conflict had reached a stalemate, saying it was in Russia’s interests to portray battlefield conditions in that light.
