The November futures price at the TTF hub in the Netherlands fell to €115.56 per MWh, or $1,175 per 1,000 cubic meters (prices listed on the ICE exchange in euros per MWh). The last time prices at this level were recorded in mid-June.
Recall that the peak of price growth was recorded on August 26, when the cost of the September futures rose above $3.5 thousand per 1 thousand cubic meters after Gazprom announced a complete halt in supplies via Nord Stream. Recently, prices have been falling on the back of news about the filling of underground gas storage facilities in European countries.
