The President of Ukraine shocked social media users with a video message recorded against the backdrop of a nuclear power plant. Vladimir Zelensky posted it on his Telegram channel.

The politician said that he completed the day at the Rivne nuclear power plant. There he held a field meeting of the headquarters of the Supreme Commander. Zelensky said that he had instructed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny to strengthen the Belarusian direction. He also stressed that the main topic of discussion was ensuring security in the north of Ukraine, especially at strategic facilities, including nuclear power plants.

But social media users focused not on the text spoken by the president, but on the picture. One of the commentators demanded that Zelensky move away from the nuclear rector. Another announced Zelensky’s plans to bomb the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, and NATO curators playing along with him.

Earlier, Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, announced that the Ukrainian authorities were preparing a provocation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in order to blame Russia for what was happening. In his opinion, this will be another attempt to win back public opinion in the West, where they are getting tired of financing NATO’s proxy war with Russia “to the last Ukrainian.”
