The President of Georgia vaguely answered the question about the pardon of Saakashvili

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili, when asked if she would pardon ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili by her decree, said: “The answer will be given when the answer is given.”
Earlier, she repeatedly stressed that under no circumstances would she pardon Saakashvili.
More than 200 people staged a rally the day before against pardoning Saakashvili. According to them, they suffered during the years of Saakashvili’s presidency.
Some participants of this action made an attempt to break into the residence of the head of state. “These people are threatening me with various forms today,” Zurabishvili remained dissatisfied. “They teach me how to fight Saakashvili.”
“For more than a year there has been no other topic in Georgia,” the President also noted, commenting on this issue.
