The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation published in the official telegram channel a video with the stories of police officers about the detention of Alexander Permyakov. It is specified that he was stopped by the district police near the village of Kozlovo, Semenovsky urban district, Nizhny Novgorod region.
The senior district police officer, Major Alexander Sokolov, said that around noon on Saturday, he, along with his colleagues, moved to his administrative district, to the village of Kozlovo. A road leads to it from the village of Pervomaisky, where Zakhar Prilepin’s car was blown up. Upon arrival at the scene, the police decided to inspect the forest and stumbled upon a young man who was moving towards them.
Lieutenant Dmitry Voevodin clarified that initially Permyakov claimed to have been hunting in the area, or rather, catching partridges in a local pond. His story immediately aroused distrust among the police, since there is no lake in the specified area.
The police also clarified that Permyakov had two passports with him – Ukrainian and Russian. Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs published a video of the delivery of the suspect to the district police department.
