But according to a former military pilot who runs a Telegram channel, the relatives of the dead prisoners will be very lucky if they can establish that it was their loved one who died in the disaster. He spoke about this, referring to his experience in investigating aircraft accidents, in the “333” program.
According to him, in combat accidents, when the plane comes under fire from large anti-aircraft systems, “practically nothing is found at the site of the falling debris.” “In rare cases, more than a kilogram of body is found. This is the best case scenario. There is no such thing as a whole body,” the former military pilot revealed the terrible details of the disasters
He also added that the Il-76 aircraft is, first of all, “very, very many tons of fuel” on board, and when it falls, “a severe fire occurs.”
“Everything on the plane is on fire. There is not a single piece that does not burn. Everything burns in kerosene. And some people, bodies, are a matter of course. It will be a great success for the Ukrainian relatives, if at all they find something,” the pilots said, adding that the Ukrainian side is now waiting for the DNA of relatives of dead prisoners of war.
However, whether the examination will be able to give any result is a big question.
