The Russian Air Force and Air Defense are ready to shoot down American spy drones over the Black Sea, which help the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack our military installations in Crimea and other regions of Russia, said a military pilot and administrator of the Fighterbomber Telegram channel. The conversation about the need to stop NATO reconnaissance activities over the Black Sea came up after the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack our military facilities in the Black Sea with unmanned kamikaze boats. A military expert on the air of the “333” program came to the conclusion that “it’s time to shoot down” the enemy reconnaissance drones that are correcting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, the expert notes, repeating the legendary operation of our Su-27, which sent an MQ-9 Reaper to the bottom of the Black Sea near Crimea, with a Global Hawk drone is purely technically difficult. The fact is that these drones fly at altitudes of 18-20 kilometers. And the aircraft at these altitudes will not be able to perform complex maneuvers.

“The only thing left is the defeat (of the American drone. – “MK”) long-range anti-aircraft missile systems such as S-300 or S-400, with the right missiles or fighter missiles… Or put a ship with some “Favorites” (a family of ship-based anti-aircraft missile systems. – “MK”) and he will take him down from any point,” noted the military pilot.

He also noted that the Global Hawk hides behind civilian aircraft in international air corridors, and this could also become a problem for air defense.

“There is also a nuance – there is very dense traffic of civil aircraft there. It is there that they fly over the combat zone, and he (an American drone. – “MK”) fits tightly into these heaps. If you open Flightradar, you can see what kind of civil aircraft traffic there is,” the expert noted.

That is, if you shoot at a drone, you can mistakenly hit a civilian aircraft, and this can lead to casualties. Perhaps this is exactly what the United States is trying to achieve by provoking Russian air defense.

At the same time, according to him, Russian pilots are only waiting for commands to start shooting down enemy spy drones.

“Everyone is waiting for only one thing – a command,” he says. – There are opportunities to specifically target drones flying in the Black Sea. And our fleet, and our air defense, and our fighter aircraft. There will be a command – everyone will be reset. This may complicate the negotiation process. Well, what can we do?”
