Pentagon: US hit Houthi radar installation in Yemen
The American army has once again struck at the Houthis in Yemen. This time the group’s radar installation was destroyed. This was reported by the central command of the US Department of Defense.
“At 3:45 a.m. Sanaa time (coinciding with Moscow time – approx.) on January 13, US forces launched a strike against a Houthi radar installation in Yemen,” the Pentagon said in a statement.
It is clarified that the strikes on the radar installation were carried out using Tomahawk missiles, which were launched from a US Navy destroyer.
On the night of January 12, the United States and Great Britain announced the start of air strikes on Houthi positions in Yemen. This decision was made in connection with an attack by a paramilitary group on merchant ships in the Red Sea.
