Spokesman for the coordinator of the Black Sea Initiative from the UN Ismini Palla said that on June 1, the joint coordination center did not conduct inspections of ships under the grain agreement.
Participants of the initiative are negotiating the issue of resuming the registration of ships and inspections, the spokesman said.
On July 22, 2022, representatives of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN came to an agreement that, among other things, allows the export of Ukrainian grain, food and fertilizer from three ports along the Black Sea. More than 30 million tons of food have been exported.
